The villa is currently under construction with a few minor modifications to the design as shown in these images. This is a 2-storey villa with a roof floor and as part of the cultural and traditional requirements of the U.A.E, the house has two large Majlis rooms. A Majlis is commonly referred to as a private receiving and/or seating rooms, also referred to as the Lounge in the west. The ground floor includes a large kitchen located between the dining room and the men’s majlis room. The first floor has 4 master bedrooms that has a private dressing room, a bathroom, and a balcony each. The roof floor has a large bedroom for the maid with its private bathroom and storage, a small pantry, a laundry room, and an extra guest bedroom. To give a sense of “being home”, we applied modernity in the design with a touch of traditional architectural ornaments. The White flush paint facades, along with light wood terraces, traditional mashrabiyas and wooden door frames and roof/balcony pergolas all reveal this sense of “being home”
