Since the four siblings of Al Momen began in 1945 the foundations, this institution has been providing its technical and aesthetic services in all branches of engineering activities supported by a team of superior skills and its members have won many awards and recognitions, nationally and internationally.
Projects designed by M.A.C.E in (EGYPT, KSA, KUWAIT, QATAR, U.A.E, LYBIA, IRAQ, IRAN, BELGIUM, SPAIN, U.S.A ...) include but not limited to Town planning, construction of new urban complexes, land reclamation and its infrastructures.
It as well includes civil and military airports, main highways, transportation, and telecommunications centers, many water and sewage networks, power and water desalination plants, in addition to bridges, and industrial complexes with the D.V.T. German Foundation, Popular and middle income Housing, hospitals, sports clubs, universities, the restoration of historical monuments, and military facilities.
In 1945, the 4 siblings of Al Momen agreed on establishing a house of expertise called (Momen Architects and Consulting Engineers). The founders are Dr. Eng. Fahmy Momen, Dr. Eng. Mostafa Momen, Dr. Eng. Galal Momen and Eng. Atteya Momen.
The siblings were supported and equipped with the highest levels of academic, practical and experienced qualifications in their specializations.

(1931 - 2010)
Architect Atteya Momen spearheaded the institute's projects in Saudi Arabia, specifically the Haram Nabawy expansion project. He also supervised many projects in Egypt and other Arab countries for more than 40 years.
Dr. Fahmy Momen
(1919 - 1977)
Dr. Architect Fahmy Momen, also known as the man with the golden hands, is a one of a kind designer. He masterminded the planning and designing of the first expansion works of the Holy Kaaba in Mekka and the Madina Mosque in Madina, both in Saudi Arabia from 1952 up to1957. Dr. Fahmy was the appointed president of the Engineering Office. His landmarks can be seen all over Egypt - the famous Engineering Faculty of Alexandria University, the late Saad Zaghloul – Mostafa Kamel – Ahmed Maher and Al Noqrashy Mausoleums to name a few, says a lot about his talents. Furthermore, most mansions and royal palaces built in several gulf countries today are designed by him. Dr. F. Momen obtained many architectural awards in Egypt, Syria and the Arab world.

(1922 - 2005)
President of the Egyptian Student Union (1942-1948)Graduated from Architecture in1945 and obtained a Political Science Diploma in 1956.Following his passion in writing, Dr. Momen also achieved his M.A in Media and Journalism in 1957 as well as successfully receiving his PhD in Political Sciences and Law later in 1960. Over the years Dr. Momen was the main consultant for a handful of Arabian well-known Banks.The awarded architect of several architectural international competitions (UK, USA, UAE, KSA, Syria, Bangladesh and Pakistan). Attained the ‘Gold Shield’ Award for Best Completed Project in Islamic Architecture (1999) Dr. M. Momen’s first project after graduation, believe it or not, was the Governorate of Cairo Building, famously known today as the Tahrir Admin. Complex - Al Mogamma’a. He as well - is the author of several published books throughout his career.
Dr. Galal Momen
(1925 - 1977)
Graduated 1st with highest honours from the College of Architecture in 1948, achieved both a PhD and a diploma from Sorbonne University of Paris in architecture from 1949 to 1954. Over 12 years, Dr. G. MoMen was Head of Architecture in Helwan University, Cairo. He accomplished two architectural master pieces: the Television and Broadcast Building – publically known as Maspeero, and the Jamal Abdelnasser Mosque. This mosque is a significant landmark in Islamic architecture and was nominated for the Agha Khan Architectural Award in 1995 along with his two brothers, Fahmy and Mostafa Momen. More than 35 years of experience in architectural services and a major consultant in Egypt, the MENA region, UK and the USA.
